We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Outsourcing Manager.

Who you are:

You are a confident and capable manager whose career ambition is to become a Director.

You enjoy both the operational and the strategic, are confident and capable in presenting management information, dealing with VAT compliance and preparing forecasts and budgets. You are not fazed with challenges or changing priorities to meet the needs of a diverse client portfolio (ranging from entrepreneurs and SMEs to large group companies). You take pride in providing exceptional financial solutions to all your clients.

You are an excellent communicator and listener, committed to training and motivating your team, getting to know each team member and understanding how they work and learn.

The role:

Oversee client accounts, manage their outsourced finance operations, drive efficiencies in our processes and lead and inspire our lovely team members. Your strategic insight will be crucial in creating and maintaining strong relationships with our diverse clients and partners, as well as cross-functionally with all our colleagues.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist the Partner/Director in scoping out services and quotes for new clients
• Onboard new clients
• Review bookkeeping, management accounts and VAT returns
• Review year end packs and related information
• Complete and review VAT compliance including registration, de-registration, option to tax, VAT enquiries and investigation (our VAT specialist can advise on complex areas)
• Assist and advise clients with their accounting systems, which can include designing accounting processes and internal controls
• Update the Board re new technologies and systems
• Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements

Your experience:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or QBE
• Previous proven outsourcing or bookkeeping and management accountancy experience
• Good VAT knowledge
• Numerate and analytical with excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Intermediate/advanced Excel, Xero
• Software proficiency
• Business acumen
