Having joined the audit and accounts team at our parent company Simmons Gainsford in 2009, I became Director of Fl3xiBooks following our launch in early 2017.
My expertise lies in developing and maintaining financial systems and company records and building meaningful and long-lasting relationships with clients.
My day-to-day duties include finding and fixing problems and training and assisting others with bookkeeping and software.
My superpower is being a Grandma and I will always choose cheese over meat!
The part of my job I particularly enjoy is producing Management Accounts.
In my time away from work I am a Cub Scout Leader and find it rewarding to see the youngsters enjoy outdoor activities (even in the rain!)
I have been working in accounts and finance since 1998, filling various roles before settling into Bookkeeping in 2012.
Outside of work I take a keen interest in most sports particularly Football, F1 and cricket. I am also a qualified cricket umpire and coach.
Bookkeeping has been a perfect career match for me and I thoroughly enjoy the work!
I joined the Fl3xiBooks team at their London office in January 2022.
In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, playing football and going out to eat. The most interesting place I’ve visited is Bali.
I initially joined Fl3xiBooks as an Apprentice in October 2021, before moving into a full-time position as a Bookkeeper in January 2023.
When I’m not at work I enjoy playing video games, especially competitive FPS games!
After successfully growing a bookkeeping team within Simmons Gainsford, the decision was made to create a business (Fl3xibooks) within the SG Group. This business would be run by accountants but serviced entirely by bookkeepers, with a focus on providing a bespoke service to clients giving ongoing contact with their dedicated team members.
Three senior bookkeepers and one apprentice are recruited to join our existing team of five.
A new apprentice joins the team. Later on in the year our first apprentice moves to SG to continue their career in accounts and audit.
We hire two more bookkeepers and an assistant manager joins us from SG.
Our third apprentice joins us. Later in the year our second apprentice moves to the SG to continue their career in accounts and audit.
Our fourth apprentice joins us as we decide to double our apprenticeship scheme. We are now a team of thirteen!
Outsourcing manager joins us – this is a newly-created role. We are now a team of fourteen!
We pride ourselves on the highly flexible and personal service we provide to our clients, none of which would be possible without the dedication of our wonderful team. If you’re interested in starting or continuing your bookkeeping career with us, we would be delighted to hear from you.
